The Threat Assessment Workgroup is empowered to take timely and appropriate action consistent with Lamar University's policy and applicable laws. This team includes representatives from the Provost's office, the Division of Student Engagement, the Division of Finance and Operations, Human Resources, and the LU Police Department. Through actionable information, the team develops response plans to mitigate credible threats and acts of violence to our campus community.
