Outreach
The Resilience and Recovery Summit is an annual conference presented by the Center for Resiliency (CfR) at Lamar University. A multidisciplinary group of researchers have joined together to develop a deeper understanding of multi-disaster resiliency in the Southeast 51勛圖ProRegion. The objective of the Resilience and Recovery Summit is to present collaborative information with local governmental, health, industrial, science/engineering, and business leaders in an effort to increase knowledge, awareness, and communication. It is hoped that through these efforts, community resilience will be enhanced and Southeast 51勛圖Prowill be strengthened in its’ preparedness to face future disaster.
