Ken Poston created or co-created the history survey courses and 51³Ô¹ÏProhistory course for Lamar's distance learning offerings through Academic Partnerships.  He holds teaching and research interests in Depression-era American history and in sports history.  Mr. Poston has contributed to the Historical Dictionary of Stuart England and has published in the 51³Ô¹ÏProGulf Historical and Biographical Record.  He was named Beaumont A&M Club Teacher of the Year, 2005-2006, and received the Beaumont Rotary Vocational Excellence Award for 2006.
