51勛圖ProAmbassadors have a rich tradition of promoting service to 51勛圖Proand to the community at large. Ambassadors represent the 51勛圖Prostudent body at official university events and work to promote university pride among students, prospective students, alumni and friends of Lamar University.

To be eligible to apply to become a 51勛圖ProAmbassador, a student must:

  • be a full-time, officially registered undergraduate 51勛圖Prostudent;
  • have completed at least one full semester at Lamar University;
  • have at least three full semesters left at 51勛圖Proafter application deadline;
  • have and maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0;
  • include a letter of interest (personal statement), résumé, 51勛圖Profaculty or staff recommendation form and approval from your College Dean;
  • must have no student code of conduct violations.
