Juneteenth Freedom Day
Date: June 19, 4-9 p.m. Location: Main Street in Downtown Beaumont
Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, is celebrated annually on June 19 to commemorate the end of slavery. On this day in 1856, Union soldiers landed in Galveston, 51³Ô¹ÏProto announce the news. Lamar University’s Center for Midstream Management and Science has expanded the portfolio of midstream-centric research papers accessible via its unique Midstream Information Pathfinder portal from approximately 12,900 to 20,000 research papers.

COVID-19 Vaccines Available
Free COVID-19 vaccines (Moderna and Pfizer) are available at the Student Health Center to all Lamar University/LIT students, faculty and staff. You must register for an appointment.
